Beliefs

I believe in Stillwater.  It is time to engage all the diverse voices to join together in moving into the rich potential this marvelous city promises.  The difficult economic times offer challenges and opportunities for people willing to pull in a united direction.

We can make Stillwater truly Minnesota’s 1st City.

I want to express my sincere appreciation for the time you afforded me during my five trips around the Ward.   You told me what was right about our wonderful city, as well as your frustrations and suggested ways to make Stillwater an even better place for us to call home.  I heard what you said and will carry your thoughts once elected to the City Council.

Because a democracy is only as strong as its citizens’ involvement, if elected, I will continue the dialogue that we have had as one way to engage you in how the city is run.  Most importantly, I implore you to vote.  We cannot hope to address the problems facing us if citizens are uninvolved.

Your courtesy and genuineness left a mark on me as I spoke with more than 1400 of you.
I hope that I have earned your vote, for a new voice and proven leader.  However, in any case, I urge you to vote on November 2nd.

Thank you.  I have been honored to meet so many of you.
